Paraprofessional Training
Equipping those who make a difference.
Next Training: TBA
Specialized two-day training, offered every two years in partnership with the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, for the paraprofessionals who support students in our Catholic school classrooms.
Why it matters
Paraprofessionals play an important role in supporting students with disabilities and learning differences in Catholic school classrooms. Often working one-on-one or in small groups, they provide direct support and help students access instruction, develop independence, and reach their academic and behavioral potential.
But paraprofessionals are often asked to take on these responsibilities with limited formal training. EMBRACE recognizes the need to equip them with the knowledge, skills and strategies to support students and collaborate with classroom teachers.
