EMBRACE the Movies
EMBRACE held our fourth annual EMBRACE the Brew on September 13, 2025! With our largest crowd of 490 guests, we had our most successful night of giving. We raised $400,000 to help support students with disabilities and learning differences in their Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas. Thank you to all those who attended and/or supported our event. It was a great evening. The proceeds will fund grants to hire resource personnel in Catholic schools and provide scholarships for teachers to receive their masters in special education. Don’t forget to see if your employer offers a MATCHING Gift program to multiply your gift.
If you are 70½ or older, there are tax advantages to giving to charity from your IRA.
Consult your advisor to see if you can benefit. Don’t forget about your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)- there are ways to give without paying income taxes on the distribution.
Recommend a grant to EMBRACE (Matthew 19:14) from your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF).
A gift of appreciated Securities or Cryptocurrency may be beneficial from a tax perspective.
